Shopping for clocks is a pain in the butt

I don’t know what it is about these clock manufacturers but they make life sooo darn complicated. When I go to the store and ask for what I want, they always recommend some $500-1000 overpriced piece of…you get the point.

Well, the thing is, my criteria was that the clocks had to chime with a westminster chime, they have to have a volume control, they must be able to be completely shut off, and they must be battery operated and the battery must last at least a year. Is that really a clock worth $1000? It’s pretty simple engineering…

I personally wanted to start off with Howard Miller clocks but then moved on to Bulova on Clock Selection because I don’t think Howard Miller lives up to Bulovas standard.
